Even the Village Voice raved about Hoodstock.
That shit was the best sweat and beer soaked dance party in a gnarly warehouse garage that I’ve been to in years!

Nick Chatfield-Taylor asked something like 70 artists to make original artwork using white-label vinyls of the Ninjasonik 12″ single “Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant”. The art exhibition is called “Somebody Gonna Get Pregnant.”

So we’re gonna show you a sneak peak of one record every day all the way up to the exhibition opening on Thursday, June 3rd 2010.
This one above is by our friend Matt Furie.

And, while this isn’t a record, thought I’d share it anyway… saw it at Nick’s place when I stopped by to photograph the exhibition records.
It’s hanging in his bathroom.

Finally, someone did a day in the life of Ninjasonik. I ain’t felt that drunk since… well, since Saturday night at HoodStock.

It’s good to see Cerebral Ballzy doing what they know: drinking, skating and fare evasion.

Festival… featuring two nights of live music by 12 of Brooklyn’s established and

KnifeFight: No Rules documents a weekend so raucous that festivalgoers
were literally climbing the walls and hanging from the ceiling. Fortunately,
Project Fathom was there to film the action!

Project Fathom is in cahoots with KnifeFight, and we’re throwing a screening party for the “KnifeFight: No Rules!” micro-documentary . Also debuting are music videos for The Death Set and Hussle Club, directed by Fathom directors, with live sets from both bands. Before, during, and after, we’ll have Brooklyn party crew Broken Teeth with special guest DJ Anton Glamb.

The date is June 2nd, the spot is the Knitting Factory, be there or be square.
The party will be filmed, so doll it up, dolls.
