Cops at 172 Duane St.

The NYPD shut down the Dash Gallery Opening last night.  It was scheduled to go from 7pm to 11pm, but the cops had that place locked up soon after 9pm.

I imagine HOVA made a call, all like: “Police Chief, this is Shawn.  You know Damon’s got that thing tonight, right?  Yeah… that can’t go past nine.  Aight? Aight.”

The NYPD roped off the whole block.

“You can stand here all night, but you’re not getting in!” yelled one cop to the crowd. Then he told everyone to clear the sidewalk.

So we met up with The Death Set and went to the show!

The Death Set at Lit.

Good fuckin’ show!  The Death Set played some of their new jams, got the kids swinging from the sprinkler pipes.  We all got drunk and sweaty

DC spotted our hommie Sinboy at Lit.

Sinboy, WTF man?!  You still in London or what?

Honor from Cerebral Ballzy in the green room at Lit.

Looks kinda like he did puking into a trash can at Party Expo’s benefit last month! Compare photos after the jump.
